Sherif Barsoum is the associate vice president for global services at NYU which hosts the most international students of any university in the USA. He has presented at NAFSA, AIEA, APAIE and other educational conferences. He has been in the field for 27 years and was the vice president of public policy and on the NAFSA Board of Directors. Sherif has a master's degree in higher education administration from The Ohio State University and has completed doctoral course work at the University of Alabama. He has taken students on study abroad and service learning programs to Morocco, Egypt, South Africa, and Costa Rica.
