The AI-Enhanced Study Abroad Office: Quarterly Insights for EA Professionals
This quarterly, one-hour Active Learning webinar series invites Education Abroad professionals to build AI competencies together in real time. Each session offers a focused learning topic—grounded in data, emerging practice, and hands-on exploration—designed to strengthen participants' ability to use generative AI effectively and responsibly in their work. Through expert-led discussions and collaborative breakout activities, the series creates space for practitioners to ask questions, test tools, share challenges, and gain practical techniques that can be immediately applied in Education Abroad advising, operations, and leadership.
Objective: To move NAFSA's Education Abroad community from AI-aware to AI-active by equipping practitioners with the insight, skills, and practical strategies needed to confidently integrate generative AI into the daily work of an Education Abroad office.
Recommended Experience Level:
- Beginner: No prior AI experience required.
- Intermediate: Some familiarity with AI; ready to deepen practice.
