The U.S. Department of Labor's Office of Foreign Labor Certification (OFLC) has posted its 11th set of Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) regarding PERM. The FAQs address:
- the fact that DOL does not expedite the processing of PERM applications
- how an employer can document its use of an employee referral program
- automatic audits triggered when an employer submits unsolicited documentation in conjunction with, or after filing an ETA Form 9089, and
- OFLC's interpretation that "business day" means Monday through Friday, except for Federal holidays.
