Join Conservation Florida for a tour of D Ranch Preserve, a stunning piece of wild Florida that is permanently protected. You'll learn about Conservation Florida's efforts to safeguard the state's water, wildlife, and natural landscapes. Following this, enjoy a walk lasting 1 to 1.5 hours along the preserve's trails. Please wear closed-toe shoes and long pants, and dress appropriately for hot weather.

This learning excursion introduces participants to the University of Central Florida’s Rosen College of Hospitality Management and its deep connections to the global tourism, theme park, and attractions industry. Guided by Dr. Cynthia Mejia, Dean of the Rosen College of Hospitality Management, participants learn how academic programs, experiential learning, and industry partnerships prepare students for hospitality careers in a globally interconnected workforce. Attendees will examine international career pathways, workforce development trends, and how hospitality has become an economic driver for cities and countries worldwide. Participants will gain insights into how institutions can align curriculum, internships, and industry engagement to support student success in a global context.
