It All Starts Here

Nov. 7-9, 2010
Ann Arbor, MI

Greetings From Ann Arbor

The Region V Team is proud to announce the 2004 Region V Conference will be held in Ann Arbor, Michigan, November 7 - 9. On behalf of the team, I would like to invite you to join us in our regional conference. This year's conference site is in the heart of the city on University of Michigan campus. The conference theme "It All Starts Here" reflects the fact that Ann Arbor is the birthplace of NAFSA, our international educators organization.

As always, with a Region V Conference, we have an excellent program planned for your professional development. We will offer seven full and half-day workshops on Sunday and Tuesday. Some of the workshops will be offered for the first time in the region.

On Monday and Tuesday, we will offer a variety of sessions focusing on SEVIS, government regulations, international scholar and student programming, study abroad, international admissions, issues related to two-year and community colleges and new TOEFL information.

In addition to the wonderful programs, the local arrangement committee has put together several special events and tours for your personal enjoyment and professional development. Don't miss the opportunity to tour the Homeland Security Border Control facility at the Detroit Metro Airport.

Come join us in Ann Arbor!
