Grant Application

Currently, the Advocacy Day Travel Grant is now open.

Advocacy Day Travel Grant

NAFSA's 2023 Advocacy Day registration is open! The format will be entirely virtual and held over two days: a half-day of training and networking on March 2 and a full day of Congressional meetings on March 8. Participation is open to all, regardless of congressional representation. With a new session of Congress forming in January and international education and exchange still feeling the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, now is an important time to be a voice for our field! Spaces are limited, with registration closing December 15 or upon selling out. Add your voice to the field's pressing needs. Register today! www.nafsa.org/advocacyday

Region VI is able to provide up to NINE (three per state: OH, KY, IN) registration fee grants this year! Please note that due to the limitations on the number of participants for the 2023 Advocacy Day event, grant recipients will be refunded their registration fee at a later date. There will not be a coupon code given prior to event registration. In other words, please be sure you or your institution are prepared for the financial commitment at the time of registration, in case you are not a grant recipient. Member fee: $99, Non-Member fee: $125, Student-Member fee: $69. I encourage you to reserve your spot for Advocacy Day 2023 now!

You do not need to be a NAFSA member to qualify for a grant. Priority will be given to first-time Advocacy Day goers. I will make a new announcement when the application is live! If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Applications are currently open. Submit an application now. All applications are due December 15, 2022.
