This one-hour active learning session invites education abroad professionals to explore how artificial intelligence is currently being adopted across the field. Drawing on practitioner-based survey data, participants will examine emerging tools, trends, and key concerns shaping AI use in global education. Through guided discussion and interactive activities, attendees will assess the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats, and inclusion implications of AI across functional areas.
Description and Learning Objectives:
- Identify current trends, tools, and concerns related to AI use in international education through survey-based insights.
- Evaluate the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats, and inclusion implications (SWOT) of AI in various global education functions.
- Develop critical thinking skills to assess AI and apply a structured rubric to guide ongoing evaluation and experimentation with AI in your professional context.
