Qiu (Jessie) Jiang

Jessie (Qiu) Jiang is currently the International Student and Scholar Advisor at Trinity University. Jessie has been working in the field of international education since 2012. She has served various roles as an F-1/J-1/H-1B nonimmigrant student/scholar advisor. She has also overseen cultural programming, departmental collaboration, and policy/procedure development pertaining to nonimmigrant visa holders. Jessie has led the ISSS Office to overcome the pandemic crisis by serving as the single staff member in the ISSS Office, when she reached out to various departments and the community to advocate for international students and scholars. She continued this endeavor in the year 2021 in close collaborations with partner departments and colleagues. Jessie is an advocator, a critical thinker, and a solution seeker. She is deeply committed to international education, and has presented various topics in different national and regional conferences as well as local forums/meetings. Jessie is currently serving as the Region III South Texas Liaison and China MIG Texas Liaison of NAFSA.
