Raisa Velasquez Bonet

Raisa Velazquez Bonet is a higher education professional with 8 years of experience in international education and student services. She currently serves as the Assistant Director for International Students and Scholars with the Global Engagement team at Santa Clara University, where she supports international students and exchange students through immigration advising, compliance, and holistic student support. 

Previously, Raisa worked at Northeastern University and Hult International Business School, where she guided international students through academic and immigration processes. Her work centers on advising, advocacy, and creating supportive structures for international student populations. Raisa holds a master’s degree in International Higher Education from Lesley University and is currently pursuing a master’s in Educational Leadership at Santa Clara University.
