About Region III
Since 1954, Region III has been a vibrant part of the larger NAFSA structure. Many of the region’s members have served in high, national-level positions and have been recognized with many awards and honors.
A team of professionals manage the events and resources offered in Region III; this team consist of a chair stream as well as Conference Planner, Budget Manager, Development Chair, Registrar and Communication Liaison. In addition to these positions, the Leadership Team also includes Knowledge Communities Liaisons, State Liaisons, Regulatory Specialists, a Training Coordinator and the NAFSA Academy Coach. The Region III network is designed for individuals to provide information and ideas to others in the region. This announcement space is your opportunity to connect. You do not need to be a NAFSA member to participate in the network.
Region III offers professional development for all international education practitioners in the region through the annual regional conference, state meetings, and on-demand workshops.
Formal and informal networking opportunities are available throughout the year.
