Join us for a member-only update on Curricular Practical Training (CPT) and the proposed fee rule for Optional Practical Training (OPT). In August, the Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP) published two broadcast messages that significantly narrow F-1 CPT eligibility standards. Meanwhile, on September 11, the Office of Management and Budget concluded its review of a proposed rule on OPT Fees, which NAFSA members can expect to be published soon. NAFSA staff will share the latest policy updates and provide members with advocacy opportunities.
