75th NAFSA Annual Conference & Expo

NAFSA welcomes you to join us at the 2023 Symposium on Leadership on May 30 in Washington, D.C., a special signature program included with registration for the 75th NAFSA Annual Conference & Expo. No additional registration or fee required to attend!

As a platform for global voices working together to inspire an inclusive future, the 2023 Symposium on Leadership: Decolonization, Indigenization, and International Education considers how to deconstruct practices of institutional racism and xenophobia that can lead to the disenfranchising of individuals and communities at the margins of influence, resources, privilege and/or those experiencing social exclusion by people in power. Through the symposium’s keynote presentation, panelists’ Q&A, and breakout discussions, attendees are invited to engage in conversation about practices of decolonization, indigenization, anti-racism, and equity in their own international education programs and work environments.

A NAFSA Signature Program offered by the International Education Leadership Knowledge Community.
