Network and learn more about getting published in the field of international education with NAFSA's Teaching, Learning, and Scholarship Knowledge Community (TLS KC). Join the conversation and connect with contributors from the latest issue of the Global Studies Literature Review and NAFSA staff who work on various publications.

Publishing your work is an important way to contribute to the field of international education, advance professional practice, influence policies, and share innovations. Learn from panelists as they discuss the publishing landscape, share practical advice, and explore strategies for turning ideas into published work across different outlets with NAFSA. Participants will have opportunities to:

  • learn how to identify appropriate publication outlets;
  • gain insights into developing, submitting, and revising manuscripts;
  • hear from experienced authors, editors, and reviewers about common challenges and best practices;
  • connect with colleagues interested in potential writing partnerships; and
  • ask questions and receive practical advice to help move their work toward publication.

This event is open to everyone—international education professionals, scholar-practitioners, and researchers at all career stages. Whether you are preparing your first submission or looking to strengthen your publication strategy and impact, this event is designed supports authors at every stage of the publishing process with a collaborative space to learn, connect, and grow.
