The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has proposed significant filing fees for Optional Practical Training (OPT) applicants and the institutions that support them. Join NAFSA for a timely webinar examining the proposed fee rule, its implications for international students and campus stakeholders, and the broader policy landscape.

During this webinar, experts will provide an analysis of the proposed rule, review relevant data and research on its impact, and share practical resources to help institutions and individuals develop and submit informed comment letters to DHS before the 30-day public comment deadline. Attendees will leave with a clear understanding of the proposed rule and actionable tools to engage in the regulatory process.

This webinar will not be recorded to allow for an open discussion.

Make sure to visit NAFSA's Proposed OPT Fee Rule Portal page (link below under "Related Content") before tuning in to the webinar, to access analysis and comment letter writing resources.
