“The authors remind us of the complexities associated with the education abroad profession—including issues of access, data privacy, risk management, and assessment—while keeping an unshakable focus on students’ success, safety, and physical and mental health. In times of flux, the authors urge us to maintain a strategic approach to education abroad management, whereby leadership is key to forging collaboration both inside and outside the campus. This publication is an essential resource for the modern administration of education abroad in our colleges and universities.”—Gonzalo Bruce, PhD, assistant provost for global education, Boise State University
