Earlier this month, NAFSA Executive Director and CEO Esther D. Brimmer, DPhil, moderated a panel discussion held at the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR), “Foreign Money in U.S. Universities: Implications for Academic Freedom and National Security.” Dr. Brimmer and the panel of foreign policy and higher education experts discussed the academic and national security implications of foreign countries making financial contributions to academic research in the United States.
