2020 NAFSA eConnection Program
In light of the cancellation of the NAFSA 2020 Annual Conference & Expo, member-leaders and staff have been developing the 2020 NAFSA eConnection. This five-day, fully virtual program is designed to bring you together with the international education community to reconnect, share practical resources, and engage on important issues during this critical time.
What is a Concurrent Session?
These sessions were selected by the 2020 Annual Conference Committee from the sessions originally selected for NAFSA 2020 in St. Louis to provide you with timely insights from your colleagues in the field. Each concurrent session block allows you to pick one of the three sessions offered.
What is a Current Topics Learning Lab?
These focused education and training gatherings emphasize interaction among all participants and center on practical, collaborative problem-solving. Each lab presents a professional learning opportunity facilitated by leading experts in the field of international education. (These events are both full for the 2020 eConnection.)
What is a Community Gathering?
Enjoy a member-led conversation intended during breaks from other programming. We invite you to bring a beverage, a snack, or anything during these times that help you be present, reflective, and engaged.
What is the eConnection Showcase?
Visit NAFSA's take on a virtual Expo Hall, for a unique opportunity for your organization or institution to connect online in real time with exhibitors.
Who are the Guest Speakers?
We have invited guest speakers from outside of the field to inspire attendees. These speakers were originally selected as Spotlight Presenters by the 2020 Annual Conference Committee.
What is the Virtual Mainstage?
Come together with all eConnection attendees to learn from a pan-NAFSA point of view. These panels are for "big picture" conversations about the field of international education.
